Biographical short film that portrays the relationship between the director's late maternal grandparents, narrated through the correspondence they held in the 1970s. A weaving between what the director can see and touch of their grandparents-their house, their clothes, their letters, their photos-and what they can't touch-their voices-in order to construct a memory of their family and themselves.
Premiered during Docs MX Oaxaca 2023, as part of the Fragmentos Oaxaqueños program.
